Award of $5,000 to a USA, Canada, or International early-career investigator to recognize outstanding research on lupus. Nominations are welcome for licensed physicians with notable achievements in clinical care, translation, and basic science in the field of lupus research.
The Lupus Foundation of America established, in 2009, the Mary Betty Stevens, MD, Young Investigator Prize, to be given annually in recognition of the exceptional achievements of an investigator in the early part of his or her independent career in lupus research.
