5. How can I reset my password?

Visit the login page and enter your email address. If your email address is in our database, it will ask you for your password. If you would like to reset your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link. You will have the choice of receiving your password reset either by phone or email. If you continue to experience difficulties, please email and we can manually reset it for you.

6. How do I cancel my subscription?

As part of's commitment to our Subscribers, we offer an Automatic Renewal Program, as a quick and convenient way for subscribers to pay without interruption of service. You may cancel your account at any time by opting out of the Auto-Renew Program. To cancel your subscription, log into your MemberPlus+ account and visit the My Account dashboard (located in the top right corner under your name) and switch the Auto-Renew toggle to the OFF position. No further amounts will be charged and your subscription will expire at the end of your current subscription period.. However, you are responsible for any amounts already charged to your credit card or PayPal account.

7. How can I see or print my receipt?

In your 'My Account' dashboard, the first icon listed will be green and read: Print Receipt. You can click this, and it will display your most recent payment, with the option to print or save as a PDF. Please email to request your prior receipt history.

8. How can I update my personal information on my account?
You can update your personal preferences,
change your password, unsubscribe from our emails, and turn off your auto-renew, at any time in your 'My Account' dashboard. You can also view your grant history and your grant calendar in the 'My Account' dropdown menu, located on the top right-hand corner beneath the social media icons. If you wish to change or transfer your username or email address, please contact us.


9. Why can't I see the full grant details?
There are 3 common reasons why you may not be able to see the full grant details:
1— You are not a paid subscriber. As a free Member, you have limited access to GrantWatch. You will not be able to view the full grant details, nor apply for grants. You will need to 
upgrade to a MemberPlus+ account if you wish to have full access. 

2 — Your subscription has expired. If you have a MmeberPlus+ account, please visit your 'My Account' dashboard to check your subscription expiry date. If your plan has expired, you can renew by visiting Pricing and Plans


3 — You may be using the wrong account. You may have signed up with a different email address, or you may have made a spelling error when signing up. If you still experience difficulties, please email our support team and provide the name and phone number associated with the account, and your payment transaction ID number so we may resolve the issue for you.

11. Why does GrantWatch charge a fee?
You can locate grants for free on your own - but for people who are short on time, staff, or don't know where to start - they can use our extensive service to make it easier to find grants! Our service is targeted towards nonprofits and established for-profits (businesses). We are a proprietary listing directory, and our diligent staff spends each working day adding verified grants to our database. So, it is the program and service you are paying for - not the grant itself.

Did you know that up to 90% of foundations don’t publicly list their grants? Over 70% of our database is dedicated to grants from foundation and corporation funders. The remaining 30% of grants are from government funders.

12. How do I add or list a grant to GrantWatch?
You can list a grant to our site by visiting "List a Grant" displayed in our website's footer. Once your listing has been verified and approved by our team, it will be added to our site.

13. How can I be added to your email list?
If you wish to join our email list and receive our free weekly newsletter, please
 sign up here. Check your spam folder if you do not receive our emails in your inbox within 7 days.

14. Can I customize my weekly emails?
Our weekly e-newsletter showcases 25 grants at random. These featured grants have been added within the last 7 days in your state. We are unable to customize the weekly e-newsletter to tailor to your recipient type or grant interests. You can change your state by customizing your geographic focus in your
 My Account dashboard. 

15. Do you give grants out to unemployed or disabled individuals?
GrantWatch is a grant listing directory and database - we are not the grant funder and we do not award funds. We recommend
watching our tutorial before subscribing to see if our service is right for you.

22. Am I eligible for grants?

Each grant has its own eligibility guidelines and criteria. Upgrade to a  MemberPlus+ subscription to view the full grant details. We recommend that you preview the grants on our database before signing up, to see if GrantWatch is for you. If you have any particular questions regarding your eligibility, and if it is not listed once you become a MemberPlus+ user, please contact the grant funder directly.

23. Do you have grants for my location?
Our database includes grants for all 50 USA states, US territories, Canadian provinces, as well as a small international selection. To help find grants in your state/province, we have
subsites for each location. This does not restrict you, and you will have the full utilization of

24. How do I search a particular city or county?
GrantWatch can filter grants by State, Province, and US territories. We are currently unable to filter by specific counties or cities at this time. This is because many grants are available State and nationwide, so it is difficult to list every county. Grants that are only for specific counties will include "in eligible counties" in the preview paragraph. 

25. Can I arrange my results by the newest date or the amount awarded?
You are unable to arrange your search results by the newest date or amount at this time. The information for the grant award amount is disclosed at the discretion of the funding source. Sometimes the grant funder may not disclose this information. 

26. Can I search for grants by my industry type?

Grant searches can be filtered with over 50 different categories. It’s best to select one category at a time for the best results, although you can select multiple. We recommend selecting the category matching your industry first. For example, find all grants available for churches in the category Faith-Based.

27. Can I save my search filters?
You are unable to save your search filters at this time. You can save a particular grant to your
grant calendar, email it, print it, save it as a PDF file, or share it on social media. Please watch our tutorials to learn how to do this.

28. Do you help with finding grants I am eligible for or help with the grant application process?
We are unable to help find specific grants or the application process. You may be interested in for these tasks. We do offer free grant resources to help businesses and nonprofits. These include sample documents, grant application toolkit, legal support, glossary, and funding terms. View our Resources page here.

29. Will I need a grant writer?
Each grant has a different application process. Some applications are simple and designed to be completed without the need for a grant writer. Typically, however, larger sum grants require a more extensive application process. We recommend hiring a
 grant writer if you are not comfortable completing the grant application process yourself.

30. Do you have grant writers available?
We recommend There is a $50 non-refundable administration fee that is required upfront. Your job is then posted out to the grant writers. Grant writers who are interested in your job will send you their quotes. There is a minimum spend of $500. The total overall price depends on the grant you are applying for. 31. How can I see my grant history or grant calendar?
You can add particular grants from our site to your 
grant calendar and also view your grant view history at any time. Click here to view our demonstration video.

32. How do I find grants using the Grant ID number?
If you are searching for a particular grant, please identify the six-digit grant ID number which is unique to all grants listed on  Click on the
'Search for a Grant' tab and make sure all fields are cleared, including your location. Enter the six-digit GrantWatch ID number and click 'apply filters'. The grant you are seeking will appear. Watch this demonstration in our video tutorial series.

33. Is your search Boolean?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a Boolean search. Use a single keyword and match it with category interests for the best results.

34. What is the success rate of GrantWatch users?
We are a grant listing database and search engine. We do not have access to this information. Once a customer clicks on any grants of interest, they are directed to the grant funder’s site to complete and submit their application.

35. How quickly will I receive a grant I’ve applied for?

Every funding source has its own timeline and method of disbursing grants. If the information is not listed when you view the grant listing, it is best to contact the grant funder directly for further information.

36. What should I do if I have been unsuccessful in getting a grant?
If you have submitted three to five grant applications and have been unsuccessful in being awarded at least one, it may be time to consider hiring a professional

Account Troubleshooting



37. What to do if I can’t log in to my account?

Here are some helpful troubleshooting tips:
• Ensure you are using the correct email address (MemberPlus+ should be displayed in the right-hand corner).
• Resetting your password (don’t rely on auto-fill passwords)
• Ensure your subscription is still active
(view the expiration date in your My Account dashboard).
• Log out and refresh your page after changing any settings.
• Try logging in through a different browser (Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
• Clear the cache and cookies on your browser.

If you are still experiencing further difficulties, please contact us immediately.

38. How do I change the email address or username on my account?
For security reasons, only our support team can update the email address on file. Please advise us via what you'd like to change to the email address from and to. We will send back a confirmation email once this has been completed for you.

39. How do I add a secondary email address or user to my account?
You are unable to add a secondary user to your account without purchasing a
 multiple-user license, however, you can share the username and password at your discretion with others. 

40. Where do I apply for the grant or see the application as a MemberPlus+ user?
When you view the full grant details, scroll down the page until you see "URL for Full Text (RFP): See the full text of this grant" and click that link. It will take you to the funder's website to apply for the grant.

41. What if I am having difficulties finding grants I am eligible for?
It can sometimes just be timing. New grants are released and added to our website Sunday through Thursday. We have no control as to which grants are available at any given time. You may find our
tutorial videos helpful in finding grants you may be eligible for.

42. Why did I receive a notice saying I’ve reached my daily limit?
We have a limit of 100 grant views per day, which is included in our
Terms and ConditionsOur limits are to prevent internet scraping and automated bots. We have found that this maximum number is never reached by organizations using the website, for the intended purpose of GrantWatch. 



Payments & Billing FAQS



43. What is Gateway 1 and Gateway 2?
We offer two different gateway types for payment. Sometimes one processor may reject a payment, and another will let it pass through. If your initial payment is not successful on Gateway 1, try your payment again with
 Payment Gateway 2. The system will not charge you twice. Please wait at least an hour before turning off your auto-renew so your initial payment does not get canceled out.


44. Do you have discount pricing?
Our pricing is the same for everyone regardless of your organization or status. GrantWatch offers the 
Archives as a Free Trial, with no credit card required for signup. This gives you a risk-free way to review archived (expired) grants to become familiar with how we post the current grants in full detail.

45. If I decide to upgrade my subscription, can the payment I've already paid be applied to the new subscription?

If you decide to upgrade on the same day of your purchase using the same credit card, you will be automatically refunded for your original payment. We do not prorate the difference if you decide to upgrade your subscription after this. We always recommend to trial our services by either:

Purchasing the 1-week subscription for $18.00 (make sure to turn off your auto-renew)

46. Do I have to sign up or purchase multiple subscriptions for more than one state?
Our database includes grants for all 50 USA states, US territories, Canadian provinces, as well as a small international selection. To help find grants in your state/province, we have subsites for each location. This does not restrict you, and you will have the full utilization of You do not need to purchase multiple subscriptions to access all the locations. 

47. What is the cost of multiple-user subscriptions and licenses?

48. How can I pay by check?
If you do not already have a free Member account, you will need to go ahead a create one here. No further action is required after clicking "Create User ID".

50. When will I be billed?

When you purchase a Subscription, you will automatically be upgraded to a MemberPlus+ account. GrantWatch charges you upfront for the initial billing period. Your payment will be processed in US dollars. GrantWatch will automatically continue your membership and charge the subscription amount to the payment information on file unless you have opted out of the Auto-Renew Program. You will be billed at the start of each subscription period according to the plan you chose – Weekly (7 days), Monthly (30 days), Quarterly (90 days), or Annual (365 days) until you opt-out of the Auto-Renew Program.

51. Why did my auto-renew fail?
A common reason for your auto-renew failing is typically because the expiry date on the credit card has lapsed. You can renew your subscription by visiting our
 Pricing and Plans once you have logged in, selecting your preferred option, and entering your new credit card details.

52. How do I update the credit card on file?
To change your credit card information, please complete the following steps:
Step 1: Login and visit your
 My Account dashboard to turn off your auto-renew if you haven't already done so (an error message will appear if it is already off and you attempt to turn it off again). 
Step 2: Visit 
Pricing and Plans. Choose the subscription of your choice and enter your payment information. Any current time will roll over and be credited to your account. (You may want to choose this option closer to the expiry date of your current subscription.)

53. How can I change or renew my subscription?
To renew or change your subscription, please complete the following steps:
Step 1: Login and visit your
 My Account dashboard to turn off your auto-renew if you haven't already done so (an error message will appear if it is already off and you attempt to turn it off again). 
Step 2: Visit
 Pricing and Plans. Choose the subscription of your choice and enter your payment information. Any current time will roll over and be credited to your account. (You may want to choose this option closer to the expiry date of your current subscription.)

54. Why am I receiving an error when I try to turn off my auto-renew?
If you are receiving an error when you turn off your auto-renew, it means your auto-renew has already successfully been turned off.

55. What is your refund policy? is a pay-as-you-go service. You commit to an initial Subscription by entering your payment information and submitting confirm payment. This initial payment cannot be refunded, even if you cancel immediately after. The exception being Quarterly and Annual Subscribers, who may be eligible for a partial refund, in which case, $45.00 will be deducted for each month the service was used, and the balance will be returned to the billing information on file. Refunds must be requested in writing to Include the name, phone number, and email address associated with the MemberPlus+ account.
We treat all customers equally, so we do not make exceptions to this policy.

By agreeing to the
Terms and Conditions and submitting your initial payment, you are enrolled in the Auto-Renew Program and authorize to charge your billing information on file at the expiration of the term of your subscription for the exact amount, until such time that you turn off or cancel the Auto-Renew Program.

57. I've been contacted by someone who claims to work for GrantWatch
All GrantWatch payments are made through our online secure payment portal.
