Cash awards are intended to help winning groups further their impact in their local community.

Consideration will be given to projects that occur on Sunday, October 29, 2017, for groups who can not participate on Saturday for religious reasons.

13 national award winners will be chosen. These are 13 projects that go above and beyond in finding a need in their communities and completing a project to tackle that need. Projects can be supported by an individual, a group, a local government or mayor that has sponsored, organized, funded and/or staffed the event.

One All-Star Award Winner will also be chosen. This is a past winner that has demonstrated excellence in volunteerism this Make A Difference Day.
