CEREBRAL PALSY ASSOCIATION OF THE MOHAWK VALLEY, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. THE ASSOCIATION HAS DEVELOPED A WIDE ARRAY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION, INCLUDING DIRECT MAIL APPEALS, SPECIAL EVENTS, MEMORIAL AND HONOR GIFTS, CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS (WHEN APPROPRIATE), BEQUESTS AND MAJOR GIFTS. IN ADDITION TO RAISING FUNDS, THE ASSOCIATION ALSO RECRUITS COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TO FUND RAISING INITIATIVES.
