THE GOAL OF THE DANNY FUND IS TO ASSIST CHILDREN, UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE (21), WHO HAVE LIFE-THREATENING AND/OR CATASTROPHIC ILLNESS BY PROVIDING EMOTIONAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE FAMILIES OF THESE CHILDREN. THE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE PROVIDED FOR THESE CHILDREN INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:-ASSISTING WITH THE PAYMENT OF MEDICAL RELATED EXPENSES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MEDICAL BILLS, TRAVEL COSTS, PHONE BILLS, FOOD AND LODGING RELATED TO THE CHILD AND PARENTS.-ASSISTING IN THE PAYMENT OF OR REIMBURSEMENT OF OVERDUE OR UNPAID HOUSEHOLD BILLS OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM THE ILLNESS OF THE CHILD.-ASSISTING WITH LOCATING ALTERNATE MEANS OF FINANCIAL AID FOR THE FAMILIES IN NEED.-ASSIST WITH FILLING OUT FINANCIAL AID AND INSURANCE FORMS.-PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO THE CHILDREN AND THEIR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES.-HELP THE FAMILY WITH FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS IN THE EVENT OF A DEATH.-ASSIST IN PROVIDING OR LOCATING BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT.
