Grants to New York nonprofit organizations for activities and projects that benefit residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for charitable, educational, recreational, environmental, and cultural programming that improves the quality of life for people residing in the Town of Clarence of the County of Erie.
While the Foundation is open to all funding requests, preference will be given to requests that:
Address the needs of the senior citizen population
Improve the academic outcomes for special needs students
Address matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all residents resulting in positive change
Improve the natural environment, including matters of conservation and recreation.
Eligibility:
- Organizations located in or providing services to the Town of Clarence, New York.
- Organizations with Section 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
This is a competitive process. Requests that cannot show maximum impact on the residents of the Town of Clarence, in view of the competition, will not be considered.
Timeline:
- Applications will be accepted online from August 21, 2023
- Application deadline: September 22, 2023, at 4 PM
- Funding decisions will be announced: Mid-November 2023
The Foundation will consider multi-year requests on a limited basis. Please call the Foundation before submitting to discuss. The Foundation requires that all grants be closed out within one year of the receipt of funds, with the exception of multi-year awards.
