Grants to New York municipalities in eligible regions for revitalization projects. Projects may be used for the enhancement, creation, and beautification of public spaces including hiking trails, streetscapes, recreational facilities, and community centers. Collaborative projects are encouraged. Community Impact Grants are available to Sullivan County municipalities to complete capital projects that will have a transformational impact.
Project examples include, but are not limited to, corridor enhancements, creation of public spaces, hiking/biking/walking trails, sidewalk and streetscape design and implementation, and creation of indoor or outdoor recreational facilities or community centers.
The recipient will be chosen based upon the potential project impact, ability to leverage funding, and readiness / capacity to complete the project in the required time. Collaboration with community groups, organizations, and other government agencies is encouraged.

A grant review committee will review up to five projects and award two Community Impact Grants.
Golden Feather Community Impact Grant Package: Up to $400,000
Silver Feather Community Impact Grant Package: Up to $200,000
