Fellowships of $4,000 to USA, Canada, and international advanced undergraduate and medical students for summer research projects related to disease. Funding is intended to subsidize the cost of research credits, housing, and living expenses. Fellowships are intended to cultivate students' interest in ending, solving, and treating Parkinson's disease and providing the tools they need to transition into leaders in the field.
Fellows work under the close supervision of a sponsor who is an expert in the Parkinson's community and oversees the project.
Upon completion of the project, fellows are invited to apply for travel funds to attend a related scientific conference to present their research.
The Parkinson's Foundation judges applications based on the feasibility of the applicant's project, the applicant's background, and the appropriateness of the mentor.

Fellowships are for 10 weeks and take place in the summer of 2021.
