Grants to USA and Canada municipal governments in multiple states and provinces for projects that promote green infrastructure development in communities negatively impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Priority will be given to projects that primarily serve low and moderate-income communities or take place in equity-seeking communities. Projects must take place within TD’s footprint in the United States or Canada.
TD Green Space Grants support green infrastructure development, tree planting, forestry stewardship, and community green space expansion as a way to advance environmental and economic benefits toward a low-carbon economy.
The 2021 theme for the program is, “Building Resilience: Green infrastructure solutions for communities disproportionally impacted by Covid-19.”
For USA applicants, preference will be given to currently recognized Tree City USA communities or those interested in becoming a Tree City USA community over the next calendar year.

Through the program, municipalities in the United States and Canada are eligible to receive $20,000 (USD) – $25,000 (CAD) grants.
