Grants of $3,000 to New York individual artists in eligible areas to support the creation of new work in any artistic discipline. First-time applicants must attend an application information session. Funding is intended to support projects that enhance the cultural experience within the borough of Queens. New work is defined as work that has not been produced or presented to an audience before.
Project disciplines can include (but are not limited to):
All projects must culminate in an exhibition or presentation in the 2021 calendar year that is/are accessible and engage the general public of Queens.
