Grants of $300 to USA classroom teachers of grades three through six to create a school garden for educational purposes. Funding is intended to encourage an interest in gardening. The gardens may be indoor or outdoor. The purpose of the grants is to ensure that elementary school teachers continue teaching students about herbs. In addition to plants, grant funds may be used for supplies such as soil, plants trays, containers, child or youth sized tools, etc.
