Grant Description
Grants of up to $10,000 to New York nonprofit organizations, schools, and civic entities to enhance the lives of residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for projects in the focus areas of services for the elderly, arts and cultural programming, youth development, economic equity, civic and community engagement, education, the environment, and health and social services that directly impact the people of Columbia County.

Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation established the Fund for Columbia County to help strengthen communities and improve the quality of life for everyone in Columbia County. The fund serves as a resource to help organizations create and implement programs that make life safer, healthier, and more equitable for all residents of the county.

The Fund for Columbia County invites applications for new or existing projects, programs or services that have a deep, lasting and positive impact on the residents of Columbia County, with particular emphasis on low-income and/or underserved adults and children.

The Foundation welcomes applications from a single organization or collaborative partnerships. The Foundation believes that organizations can achieve more working together than they can alone and that collaborations can save resources and make organizations more powerful in their collective focus.
