Contracts for services of up to $15,000 to New York nonprofit organizations, local youth bureaus, and recreation departments to provide seasonal programs to local youth. Funding is intended for programs to encourage positive development, prevent learning loss over the summer, and address long-term juvenile delinquency prevention. Applications are invited for summertime programming for Erie County youth.
The County of Erie, New York is currently seeking proposals from qualified agencies interested in providing youth development programming to at-risk youth ages 5-20 residing in Erie County. The primary purpose of Summer Primetime funding is to support out-of-school time opportunities for youth during the high-risk summer months.
“At-Risk Youth” are stated as being any Erie County youth between the ages of 6 and 20 and fall under one or more of the following categories:
Due to the limited amount of funding available, only programs providing the below-listed services as defined by the OCFS Life Areas Coding Document will be considered for funding:

A maximum of $15,000 is potentially available per funding request.
Programs requesting more than $10,000 will be expected to provide services beyond the scope of the required criteria. This may include additional weeks of programming (more than six), additional hours or days of operations including weekends and/or evenings, additional youth served etc. All requests over $10,000 must reasonably and explicitly describe appropriate utilization of additional resources.
Successful proposers will run said program from June 28th through September 3, 2021. This is the equivalent of ten weeks. Programs are required to run for a minimum of six weeks during said time period.
